The Mothpeople swept our 5th and final competition, taking home the titles for Best Sketch as voted by the judges AND the audience. They were challenged with doing a sketch where they said the words "Baby Yoda" at least 10 times, and did so through a modern take on the classic manger scene.

Not only are they now back-to-back winners, but will hold this glorious title forever, since our Chicago shows have now concluded. Thank you everyone for a great 2 years!

The FINAL 24 Hour Sketch Comedy Competition takes place on Sunday December 8th at The Second City! Sketch teams will compete to see who can write, rehearse, and perform the funniest original sketch in just 24 hours. The audience and a panel of industry judges will vote on which team was funniest, with the winner(s) taking home over $100 in cash prizes! Judges include Second City's Norm Holly, Jonald Reyes, and Ali Barthwell. Submissions are due by 11:59PM CST Friday November 29th.

Congratulations to the two winners of last night's 24 Hour Sketch Comedy Competition!

"Hacks" took home to Audience Pick for best sketch with the lay on of having to set their scene "Before the Common Era (BCE)". They showed us a bit of what might have happened if a few mischievous angels messed with the plans of the universe!

"The Mothpeople" took home the Judge's Pick for Best Sketch, having to do a scene that was directly inspired by "a true story", ultimately enlightening us on some very "intimate" details of the cast members' lives.

We return for the 5th 24 Hour Sketch Comedy Competition on Sunday December 8th at The Second City. We hope to see you there!
