What a lovely weekend at the Port Clinton Art Festival!!

This gorgeous long coat and fun quilted jacket went home to this lovely young woman maya

We even shared our memories about cross-stitch!!! 😁😁

It touches my heart every time I see people look beautiful when wearing my wearable art. It just looks like having your imagination become real!! 😍😍

During my previous art festivals, some asked me if I could make apparel using vintage linen fabric from table cloths, or vintage handkerchief. I just said, "I'll try!" 😉

And...

I did it!!!! And.. I love it!!!

Linen has a different texture from a vintage quilt. It's definitely thinner and quite "loose", making it a little trickier on lining the seam. I need to find the groove on how working on this thinner fabric so that the drape feels perfect.

I regretted not taking all the vintage linens I saw during my antique stores hunt. Well.. I believe this is the right time!!

Off we go!!! Lets hunt for antique quilts and vintage linens!!!
