DCC Students Attend BASMAH Chicago's “For The Love of Rohingya Refugees” Event

Alhamdulillah, on Friday, July 17, 2026, students from Devon Cultural Center (DCC) had the honor of attending BASMAH Chicago's special fundraising event, “For The Love of Rohingya Refugees,” held at Embassy Suites Chicago Naperville.

We are especially proud that DCC students participated in the program through a beautiful Quran recitation, sharing the words of Allah (SWT) and contributing to the spiritual atmosphere of the event.

May Allah (SWT) bless our students, accept the efforts of everyone involved, and continue to unite our community in service, compassion, and support for those in need.

Food Distribution Program | Devon Cultural Center (DCC), Chicago

Alhamdulillah! We were honored to welcome Imam Hasan Ali, Founder of Qiam Institute, and Meer Hossain, CEO of BASMAH, during a special food distribution program dedicated to supporting Rohingya refugee families and those facing hardship in our community.

This food distribution program was generously sponsored by Qiam Institute, whose continued support helps bring hope, relief, and dignity to vulnerable families.

May Allah (SWT) bless all those who contributed to this effort, accept it as a source of Sadaqah Jariyah, and continue to strengthen our ability to serve those in need. Ameen. 🤲
