LaShawn Mosley has been missing since August 1, 2025, and her loved ones are desperate for answers. LaShawn, who is 35 years old, was last seen in the 6000 block of South Oakley Avenue on Chicago’s South Side. After that day, all contact with her stopped, and no one has been able to confirm where she might have gone or who she may have been with. As time passes, the fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak surrounding her disappearance continue to grow.
LaShawn is described as a Black woman standing about 4'11" tall with black hair, brown eyes, and a nose piercing. Her small stature and distinct features make her recognizable, and those close to her say she is someone whose absence is deeply felt. Her sudden disappearance has left her family living in constant anxiety, searching for any detail that could shed light on what happened to her. Every day without answers is another day of pain, hope, and unanswered questions.
Chicago Police have been investigating her disappearance, but so far no major leads have been shared publicly. Her case has now passed the four-month mark, and her loved ones fear that crucial information may be slipping away with time. Still, they refuse to give up. They continue to share her picture, her name, and her story in hopes that someone will see it and speak up. Sometimes all it takes is one person remembering something small to bring a family closer to the truth.
LaShawn’s family is pleading with the community to stay alert, stay aware, and help keep her name in the public eye. It is incredibly important that her story continues to be shared so the right person sees it and comes forward. LaShawn is more than a headline — she is a daughter, a family member, a friend, and someone who deserves to be found.
