A note of gratitude to all of those who helped make 2026 one to Remember.
As the 2026, and 21st Annual Cheyenne Celtic Festival and Highland Games have come and gone, it goes without saying that the men and women who worked tirelessly behind the scenes since last year and especially in the Days leading up to, and over the weekend deserve tremendous credit and respect. This includes but is not limited to the Committee, Sponsors, Vendors, Clans, Entertainers, volunteers, Athletes, family, and friends.
The incredible support from our vendors, leadership, and volunteers showed that the appreciation for our Festival and the Culture and History it represents is stronger than ever. Ultimately the Festival is about a shared love of the Culture and its people, and increasing in all of us dedication, friendship, teamwork, and inspiring the next generation to carry forward what it is that makes culture worth working hard to maintain.
Watching hundreds of Families walk the festival grounds with excitement and the biggest smiles on their faces as they cheered for the athletes, learned from the Clans, created memories with the County Library and Children’s Museum kids’ area, danced along with the dancers and bands, and our amazing Celtic Breed Dog area filled my heart with gratitude. Those moments not only created lasting memories but also opened doors and helped pave the way for the next generation of contributors to Cheyenne, the Festival, and to our communities in general.
Thank you to everyone who supported, volunteered, partnered with, and stood alongside the festival making for an amazing 21st anniversary event. I am grateful for the friendships, partnerships, and commitment that each of you invested in this event.
