We’re getting ready for summer, rodeo season, and another exciting year at the Laramie County Fairgrounds 🤠

As we prep the grounds for all the action ahead, we wanted to spotlight these incredible rodeo-themed art panels in the arena. Installed at the end of last rodeo season, these pieces added a bold new splash of western spirit to the grounds!

These pieces are extra special because they were created by local artist James Overstreet.

We’ve been made aware of scam messages and phone calls circulating on community pages that reference events allegedly taking place at the Laramie County Fair in Cheyenne.

The message typically reads something like:

“Hello, will you be available for an event at the Laramie County Fair, cheyenne on the dates below: februrary 7th, 21st, and 28th. March 14th and 28th. April 11th, 25th.”

⚠️ Please be advised:

These messages are NOT affiliated with or authorized by us.

We are not recruiting vendors, performers, or services through Facebook comments, direct messages, or unsolicited phone calls.

The poor wording, misspellings, and vague details are common signs of a scam.

✅ What to do:

Do not respond, click links, or provide personal or business information.

Report the post or message as a scam directly to Facebook.
