Nine years ago today, on 2/5/16, (we accidentally published the wrong date in the title back in the day!), The Patti Fiasco threw down perhaps the biggest show in Fridays in the Hynds history! 👍 if you were there and haven't forgotten!!

Bad Bad Hats is precisely the kind of show we would have loved to have on a FITH/FITA lineup. A big part of the vision and hard work we put into this series was that, one day, we might have a permanent music venue in Cheyenne. Well, we do now, and The Lincoln is absolutely amazing! You should really consider coming out to this one tomorrow night, Cheyenne. Only $17.50 (fees included), and free for those 15-18. Let’s bring back some throwback “Fridays” vibes on a Tuesday and support great indie music at our stellar venue. You might look back on it at the end of the year and say it was one of the best Tuesdays of 2025!

Fridays in the Hynds and Fridays in the Asher was truly an era of live music and culture in Cheyenne. From 2012-2019, this volunteer-organized music and arts series exemplified the DIY attitude of "roll up your sleeves and make something cool happen in your town." We are converting this page over to a historic page to preserve all the incredible times that happened during that special era. However, we're not stuck in the past here - just consolidating pages! Head over to Arts Cheyenne to stay up to date on all the current awesome arts and music programming happening in Cheyenne. And, of course, plug in with our friends The Lincoln, Fridays on the Plaza, and all your local venues that host live music to keep the spirit of Fridays in the Hynds and Fridays in the Asher alive. The best is yet to come in Cheyenne! đŸ€˜đŸŽžđŸŽ¶
