The Wyoming Wind won today, we currently have no power at the shop (like basically everyone else) and as such cannot serve clients today. We are reaching out individually to all piercing clients for rescheduling, and apologize for the late notice! Stay in if you can, make sure you're checking your fenceline before letting out your fur babies, and we will see you when we see you!

CFD is in full swing! We are still entirely appointment based. You're welcome to jump onto the website or come into the shop to secure your spot!

We are NOT the morning sort, I take my first client at 1pm.

There has been some confusion with new clients - when you arrive, you'll not see signage for Diamond Dog, but we are in here. We do not have a separate entrance, you'll go right on in that beautiful front door to Painted Moth Collective .

The fenced in yard is not currently an area we have open for clients, we've been doing some work and there are holes and such, someone could break a leg!

Someone got a bit confused and tried to come in for a piercing without an appointment, outside of business hours (nearly 3:00 am!) and through the wrong door after having to forcefully get through our fence.

I'd love to know if anyone recognizes this client as he seems to really need a piercing but is evidently a little confused about how to go about getting in for services.

I'd love to do a proper anatomy assessment, it's basically impossible on a camera, but I do already have a great piercing in mind for this client! 🙃

Hello, Diamond Dogs! What follows is a brief overview, the full announcement is posted on the website.

Effective Immediately, Diamond Dog Body Piercing is now strictly appointment only and no longer having Walk In Wednesday. This was a hard decision to make, and one I'd rather have not had to at all.

In addition to this, we have refined and clarified certain shop policies - these are posted in the lobby, and all those that pertain to piercing are in the announcement on the website. Please make sure to check those out before booking your next visit!

SNOW DAY!!! For the safety of our crew and clients, we will be closed today, in the event you have a scheduled appointment, your artist will be in touch shortly to reschedule.

I am struggling with a gout flare in my hands and feet. I am in absolutely no shape to work with my hands, and will not be in today. As such, there will be no Piercing Services.

This beautiful chilly Wednesday is now a Training Day!

We're making some changes in the piercing room, including establishing some new sterilizing equipment, getting some current systems and policies refined and finally welcoming into the back of house our lovely Piercing Apprentice.

We've got big things in store for all of you, including some exciting jewelry selections that will be coming in for the holidays as well as gift cards! In addition to the e-gift certificates available on the website, we are also bringing in physical, reloadable gift cards that will be available in store very shortly!

In the meantime, hit the booking section of the website - I do still have a few available slots this week, and we will be back in with walk in availability next Wednesday.

Heya Friends! It's Wednesday, and that means walk in piercings. We've had a few rough Wednesdays over the summer, so let's transition to spooky season with a few reminders.

On Wednesdays, piercings are done on a first come first serve basis. Some weeks, there is a MONSTER wait time, which I realize isn't feasible for everyone. That's why, if you're tight on time or just not a patient human (no judgement, we know who we are), you're always welcome to book an appointment. Getting spicy at an artist or apprentice is not going to move you up in the line, and I will absolutely not rush the process.

We do NOT pierce children under 12 as walk ins. It's busy, it's hectic, and it is NOT the time to be walking a little tiny human through this very big process.

The following tidbits are more general and not only regarding Wednesdays:

We try to keep our environment welcome and comfortable, but it is still a place of business. Some fun things we've had to chat with clients about lately:

You're in a business - your feet do not belong on the coffee table.

Other people also have to fit in the lobby, if your party of three could not take up literally every single couch and chair, that would be spectacular.

Inside our building, shoes MUST be worn. We literally are dealing with sharps and biohazards and again - it's a business.

We are body artists, not baby sitters. We don't hate kids, but we do recognize that where we spend most of our time is NOT a place for them. If your child is not getting a service, please look into securing childcare during your appointment. This way, we can safely work without distraction and you can have some well deserved adult time.

We've had some HUGE gaggles lately. Support humans are super important to the overall experience, but please be realistic with how many people are showing up for you. I promise, no one piercing or tattoo ever required a posse of 7 support humans. Genuinely.

BRING. YOUR. ID. We have lists available on the websites on ID requirements for minors as well as adults. If you're mature enough to be modifying your body, you're mature enough to gather necessary documentation.

Let's get on with spooky season and try to make it a little less chaotic than summer was!
