What Happens After We Die? Two Christian Perspectives 🌌✨
In Christianity, heaven is seen in two powerful ways, each beautifully illustrated by Marvel and Coco:
🔹 Protestant View: Think of Marvel’s wormholes! Like a direct bridge, this view sees heaven as an immediate journey to God after death. Jesus’ promise to the thief on the cross—“Today, you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43)—captures the assurance of instant entry into God’s presence through faith.
🔹 Catholic View: Like Coco’s ofrenda, this perspective sees heaven as a relational journey. Departed loved ones are still with us in spirit, connected through memory and prayer. Hebrews 12:1 describes the “cloud of witnesses” surrounding us, symbolizing that we remain spiritually connected with the faithful who have passed on.
Together, these views show heaven as both immediate and relational—a promise of being with God and united with loved ones for eternity.
I encourage you to share your thoughts.
