A warm-up is more than just stretching! Before class or a performance, dancers should elevate their heart rate and move through a full range of motion to properly prepare their bodies for movement.

✨ An active warm-up helps:
• Activate muscles
• Increase mobility and flexibility
• Improve focus and coordination
• Reduce the risk of injury

Remember: warm muscles perform better! Take a few extra minutes to prepare your body before every class, rehearsal, and performance. 🩰💪

What an incredible season it has been. We’ve loved watching our PHDC family grow—not only as dancers, but as friends, teammates, and confident young performers. Thank you for sharing your passion, hard work, and dedication with us all year long.
