Join us tomorrow evening for October’s First Friday with our current exhibition: Duane Perrault ‘Slices of Life’.
Duane, in his words, has created “two distinct sets of work for this exhibit. For the larger, more detailed drawings, I worked using my photographs as reference points. I carefully seek out that slice of the image that speaks to the pure essence of the subject, letting the less important details fall away. The smaller drawings have a more impressionistic feel, and all sprang purely from my imagination, which allowed me the freedom to be whimsical and more playful with my subjects.”
This exhibition of pointillist gems is on view through the end of October, be sure to come and see them in person!
Music on the porch with Ryan Milke from 5-8.
