But if there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s breaking up your week with some damn good music! And Doug Deming is making the trip all the way from Florida to bring his guitar, his blues, and his Jewel Tones to Meadow Blues.

Eastside Detroit native Doug Deming now calls Florida’s Gulf Coast home, but his musical roots run deep. With influences ranging from T-Bone Walker and Charlie Christian to Luther Tucker and Robert Jr. Lockwood, Doug brings a style all his own—whether he’s swinging that big jazz box or laying down straight-up blues on a solid-body Fender.

Tony Vee and his band brought some serious contagious energy to Meadow Blues last night—and NAILED IT!

And that Dolly Parton tribute? WELL DONE! What a beautiful touch.

Tony, Matt, Max & Warren… y’all didn’t just play a soulful jam—you created a *F@K’N MOVEMENT!

You could feel the energy in the Blues Garden. Y’all were having such a damn good time together, and that joy poured straight into the Meadow Blues Community. There was dancing, laughter, bonding, and GREAT MUSIC all night long.

And I HAVE to give a special shout-out to Max and Warren because those two got hit with the spirit! The music literally took over their bodies and unleashed some KICK-ASS SOUL MOVES!

THIS is what the Meadow Blues Jam is all about.

AND GUESS WHAT…
