I did something ridiculously crazy as a performer & artist yesterday morning when I accepted the opportunity to mark myself as the first Deaf performer to perform the National Anthem (not my first rodeo!) at the alongside the amazing who was fabulous (& it was her birthday!). Never will I say NO to last minute opportunities 😁😝! Many thanks to the Philadelphia Union managers & staff for allowing me to represent myself as a for the Deaf & HOH community.

Heyy beloveds! I know it has been A WHILE since I’ve posted anything here. I’ve been taking a rest from my public platform as a part of my self-care revolution & activism in this era as we are entering…

Once again, I’m tootin my own horns in 2025 like I promised my friend as a challenge & self-accountability. I will present at Howard Gittis Student Center (HGSC) under Temple University tomorrow on Wed., April 9 from 4-6 PM EST for 30 minutes alongside the amazing Karen Kennedy!!!

My presentation will cover the importance of storytelling as our lifeline in the Black Deaf community (& hearing Black as well) in this era as part of my “Accessibility is a Responsibility” series.
