Fifty years ago, Chester Little Theatre opened with their very first production “Barefoot in the Park” at the Chester War Memorial Building in a snowstorm.

To mark this very special occasion, CLT will have a presence during the Chester Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 4 in the window of 129 Gadsden (former Russell & Co.) with a continuous pantomime production during the parade and festivities that follow. Come by and see CLT portray a 1940s diner. Actors will be in the window from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

“Because of all the restrictions around the pandemic and the current lack of a permanent home for CLT,” Russ White, CLT president, said, “we are doing this performance just to take time to mark the most important 50th anniversary of the Chester Little Theatre”

Look for a production in February/March to mark the 50th anniversary in grand style.
