Who's ready for another fun week of dancing? Here's what you can expect this week:

Technique Classes: brush up your technique or learn something new in adult ballet on Mondays or adult tap on Wednesdays! We love growing together in these classes and having fun while doing it.

Choreography Classes: We're getting emo in Tuesday's lyrical/ contemporary class and dancing to "I'm With You" by Avril Lavigne (we LOVE a throwback around here). On Friday, we're welcoming September with (you guessed it) "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire.

Check out what's happening this week at MOVEZ!

Technique classes: We had a wonderful ballet class today and can't wait to learn/ refine some tap skills this Wednesday at 8:00. We'd love to see some new tappers in this class!

Choreography classes: These classes are always a blast and are filled with a lovely mix of new faces and seasoned MOVEZ dancers. This week, we are doing an expressive combo to "The Governor's Waltz" (by Phoebe Bridgers) on Tuesday night and a jazzy combo to "Roxie" (From "Chicago") on Friday.

Love learning choreography? Just here for the vibes? We get it. And we have TWO classes for you this fall!

Our short and sweet choreography-based classes are all about learning a fun, beginner-friendly combination in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. Each week brings a new song and a brand-new combo, so you can come consistently or drop in whenever something catches your eye!

💗 Lyrical/Contemporary: Tuesdays, 8:00–8:50 PM
Expressive choreography that gives you a chance to connect with the music, explore movement, and let yourself feel a little dramatic for 50 minutes. 😉

đŸ”„ Jazz Funk Choreography: Fridays, 8:00–8:50 PM
Upbeat, high-energy choreography with plenty of personality, musicality, and FUN.

These classes are adults only and beginner-friendly. You don't need to memorize choreography at lightning speed or walk in feeling confident. We'll break everything down step-by-step and give you plenty of time to learn it.

Let’s show some love to our adult tap classes (which are back this fall, if you missed it 😉)! Whether you’re dusting off your tap shoes after years away or you’ve never tried it, you’ll have a great time in our class designed just for adults.

Just like our ballet classes, we’ll focus on fundamentals and skill building. We’ll work together through a warm-up, technique exercises, and a fun tap combination. We’ll build skills progressively throughout the semester, so you can see real improvement without feeling overwhelmed.
Tap is an excellent way for adults to challenge their brains and bodies. As a bonus, it’s a great option for those of us who need or prefer a lower impact form of exercise.

Meet us at the barre: adult ballet is back this fall!
We are so excited to offer adult ballet again for our dancers who are looking for a beginner-friendly way to move, build strength, and learn something new. Join us on Monday mornings from 11:30-12:30.

This class is designed with beginners in mind. That’s right- no previous ballet experience required. Not sure what to expect? We’ll work through a traditional ballet class structure at an approachable pace, including barre work, stretching, center exercises, and across-the-floor combinations. You’ll build balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and ballet technique along the way.

And Monday’s class time is especially convenient for two groups:
✹ Studio 301 parents: Ballet takes place during Monday morning’s Imagination Movers classes, so while your little one is dancing, you can take a class of your own!
✹ Lunch-break movers: Step away from your workday, get your body moving, and head into the rest of your afternoon feeling refreshed.
