We love a good cow sesh!

It’s that time of year again where I can start offering highland cow feedings in the midst of our farm shoots 💛 yes our friends have to stay behind the fence, but I truly adds a little bit of extra love and magic for the kiddos.

THREE WEEKS until Christmas season starts at Fair Weather Farms, and we’re about to go from pumpkins to “WHERE DID I PUT THE EXTRA CHRISTMAS TREE?!” 🎄😂

We’re SO excited for all the holiday magic! But with sessions booked back to back, we need your help keeping things running smoother than Santa’s sleigh. Always assume someone is booked right after you—even if you don’t see them yet! 😉

We’ll have chalkboards up to help guide you, and here’s how you can best help us:

✅ Leave every setup how you found it. Put props and furniture back so the next session gets the same magic!

✅ Book enough time for setup AND cleanup. Your booking needs to cover both!

✅ Finish on time—with everything cleaned up and ready for the next photographer.

✅ Make sure your clients sign their waivers before their session.

✅ Send our client guide to your clients ahead of time.

✅ Remind everyone to use the bathroom before they come. Yes, even the kiddo who “doesn’t have to go.” 😂

✅ Remind clients to arrive no more than 10 minutes early and leave promptly afterward.

✅ Keep kiddos close, and don’t let clients wander the property. They could accidentally walk into someone else’s session!

✅ Let us know if something breaks or needs attention. Things happen, and we’re here to help!

A little preparation goes a LONG way toward making this season merry for everyone. We appreciate you guys so much! ❤️

🎄 Haven’t booked yet? NOW’S THE TIME!! Get those Christmas sessions on the calendar before your “I’ll book it later” turns into “oh, fudge.” 😂

And photogs… get your rest, charge those batteries, and stock up on caffeine. This season is coming faster than Santa’s sleigh when Mrs. Claus says the cookies are ready! 🎅🍪😂

It’s fall session season at Fair Weather Farms sooooo it’s time to dress your family in coordinating neutrals and threaten them through clenched teeth to “just smile ONE time.” 😂📸

We’ve got the pumpkins, the farm charm, and the cutest fall backdrops. You bring the kids, the photographer, and whatever snacks you’re using as bribery. No judgment, we respect the process. 😉

Book your fall session and make some memories! Even if the memory is your toddler refusing to sit anywhere except on a pumpkin. 🤎

🎄 Christmas is on the way and WOWWWW, y’all have been booking!!! ❤️🎅🏼

We still have plenty of weekday availability, so if you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxed experience at the farm… weekdays are WHERE. IT’S. AT. 🙌🏼 Less hustle, less bustle, and plenty of time to soak up all the Christmas magic!

Alsoooo, we’ve been getting this question a lot:

“Can we just come take pictures with our phones?”

ABSOLUTELY!!! 📱🎄

Of course, I’ll always recommend booking one of our amazing photographers in the Hampton Roads area because professional photos are just 🤌🏼✨ (and trust me, you definitely do NOT want me taking them 😂), but if professional photos just aren’t in the budget this year, that doesn’t mean you have to miss out!

Grab the kiddos, your significant other, your bestie, your momma—heck, make it a whole family outing—and book a spot and come enjoy the farm! Take your own pictures, make some memories, and soak up all the Christmas cuteness. ❤️

You don’t have to be a photographer to book Fair Weather Farms, and you definitely don’t need a fancy camera to make some sweet memories here.
