📢 UPDATE!!!! 📢

Now that the class introductory period is over, I will be focusing on offering a single ongoing class at a time. That class will be my Afro-Therapeutic Body Movement class!! So moving forward I will be teaching that class solely and then adding additional classes to my schedule as I build, so stay tuned for that!!

Also, please take note that class will no longer be held on Mondays! Our new class day and time will be on Fridays at 6:30pm! That's tomorrow!!! So come shake the work week off with ya girl!!! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

This performance was the 2nd to last time I was on stage. Though it can be terrifying, I love performing so much! It's just something super special about sharing something that you worked really hard on with an audience that just radiates love and support. It's the best thing ever! In many dance styles, especially many social/partner dance styles, shoes are a big deal! We often spend tons of money on custom made shoes in order to glide across the floor, showing off our best dance moves. And that's awesome! But you know what else is awesome? Dancing barefoot! Barefoot dancing allows you the opportunity to strengthen your natural balance, build flexibility & muscle strength in your feet, and it's an awesome way to ground yourself in your movements. Granted, it's not advisable that you engage in barefoot social dancing, but when you're grooving at home, I encourage you to kick off those shoes every once in a while! 🦶🏾🦶🏾
