LIP BLUSH | COLOR THEORY • SKIN • PIGMENT

Lip blush is a cosmetic tattooing procedure, but the result is determined by much more than the pigment being implanted.

Natural lip color is influenced by melanin, vascularity, underlying tissue, and individual undertones. Because of this, two clients can receive the same pigment and heal completely differently.

This is why pigment selection should never be based solely on the color you want to see in the bottle.

Neutralization is an important part of lip blush for many clients.

When the lips contain cool purple, blue, gray, or overly muted tones, those colors have to be considered before introducing the desired target color. Complementary colors can be used strategically to shift the underlying tone toward a more suitable base.

The objective is not to cover the natural lip with an opaque color. It is to work with the existing tissue and manipulate the overall color balance.

The healing process is equally important.

Lip blush creates controlled micro-injury in the superficial skin, initiating the body’s normal wound-healing response. During healing, inflammatory and reparative processes occur, including fibroblast activity and collagen remodeling. As the tissue recovers, the initially intense pigment settles and the final healed color becomes softer.

This is why a lip blush should always be evaluated as a healed result, not by how saturated the lips appear immediately after the procedure.

A properly planned treatment takes into consideration:

• Skin tone
• Natural lip pigment
• Undertone
• Existing darkness or discoloration
• Desired healed color
• Pigment temperature
• Pigment concentration
• Individual healing characteristics

There is no universal lip blush formula.

Some clients need straightforward color implantation. Others require neutralization before a target color can be introduced. Some require more than one session to achieve the desired result.

That assessment is part of the service.

LIP BLUSH | AN ELEVATED APPROACH TO EVERYDAY BEAUTY

Lip blush is not lipstick. It’s refinement.

A customized cosmetic tattoo designed to enhance your natural lip tone, definition, and balance — creating a soft, effortless flush without the daily maintenance of liner or lipstick.

THIS RESULT — BEFORE THE PERFECTING SESSION.

Even before the 6–8 week perfecting appointment, you can see the difference in tone, definition, and overall balance.

The initial session establishes the foundation. Once the lips have completely healed, the perfecting session allows me to assess how your skin retained the pigment, refine any areas that need additional saturation, and perfect the final result.

WHAT LIP BLUSH CAN ENHANCE

Natural lip color
Lip border definition
The appearance of symmetry
Uneven or muted tone
The appearance of certain healed scars, when appropriate for treatment

LONGEVITY

Results typically last 2–4 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare, aftercare, pigment selection, and individual healing.

Some clients may see fading closer to two years, while others may enjoy their results for four years or longer before choosing a refresh.

YOUR INVESTMENT — $600

Your investment includes your consultation, customized color formulation, lip mapping, initial session, professional aftercare kit, and 6–8 week perfecting session.

When broken down over the typical lifespan:

2 years — $25/month
3 years — $16.67/month
4 years — $12.50/month

Years of effortless color for a fraction of what many spend continuously maintaining their lip routine.

And the experience matters just as much as the result.

Whether you want to talk, laugh, listen to music, or simply enjoy a quiet appointment, your experience is tailored to you.

No rushed appointments. No one-size-fits-all approach.

Just intentional artistry, personalized care, and a result designed specifically for you.

Luxury isn’t simply how the result looks.
It’s how you feel throughout the entire experience.

$600 FOR LIP BLUSH SOUNDS EXPENSIVE… UNTIL YOU DO THE MATH.

Let’s compare it to the beauty services you already spend money on:

Nails: $60 every 3 weeks → $1,000+/year
Lashes: $100 every 2–3 weeks → $1,700+/year
Facials: $100 every 4–6 weeks → $800–$1,200+/year

Lip Blush: $600 TOTAL
Initial session + 6–8 week touch-up included.

If your result lasts around 4 years, that’s about $150/year — or $12.50/month.

And unlike nails, lashes, or facials, you’re not booking another appointment every few weeks to maintain it.

“But doesn’t Lip Blush fade?”

Yes. It’s semi-permanent, so the color gradually softens over time. Longevity varies depending on your skin, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare, and healing.

Want more color later? Refresh sessions are available.

The goal isn’t to give you a bold lipstick look. Lip Blush enhances your natural lip color, definition, and symmetry for a more polished, effortless appearance.

LIP BLUSH — because your everyday lips deserve more than a temporary fix.

There’s a reason this service has become such a staple in the beauty industry. It’s not about having “perfect” lips. It’s about enhancing what you already have in a way that still looks like you.

WHY LIP BLUSH?

DEFINITION
Softly defines the lips and can create a more balanced, polished appearance.

EFFORTLESS
Less time spent applying liner, lipstick, gloss, and constantly checking your color throughout the day.

LONGEVITY

The goal isn’t for anyone to look at you and think, “She has lip blush.”

It’s for them to think, “Her lips always look that good?”

And when you break down the investment, $600 over 3–4 years is approximately $12.50–$16.67 per month for a result you get to enjoy every single day.

Your service includes your initial session, 6–8 week perfecting session + aftercare kit.

🖇️ Why I’m appointment-only?

You don’t need to book a separate consultation before your appointment. However, every client is asked to provide specific information beforehand so I can properly assess your needs, prepare your procedure, and make sure we’re creating a result that is appropriate for you.

Depending on your service, I may ask for:

LIP BLUSH / LIP BLUSH NEUTRALIZATION
• Clear, makeup-free photos of your lips
• Your desired color + inspiration
• Your natural lip tone and any areas of hyperpigmentation
• Previous lip blush, tattooing, fillers, or other procedures
• Your desired shape and definition — soft, rounded, defined, heart-shaped, etc.
• Any concerns with asymmetry or uneven pigmentation

POWDER / OMBRÉ BROWS
• Clear, makeup-free photos of your face and brows
• Your desired brow shape + inspiration
• How you currently style your brows
• Previous PMU, microblading, or tattooing
• Your desired level of definition and saturation
• Fitzpatrick skin type and other skin characteristics that may affect pigment selection, retention, and healing

FINE-LINE / MICRO-ILLUSTRATIVE TATTOOS
• Your reference/inspiration images
• Placement
• Approximate size
• Desired level of detail
• Whether you want the design replicated or customized
• Any existing tattoos in or around the placement

This information allows me to evaluate the canvas before you arrive and prepare accordingly — from design and placement to pigment selection, needle configuration, technique, and overall approach.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all appointment.

Your anatomy, skin, undertone, Fitzpatrick classification, existing pigment, desired result, and lifestyle can all influence how I approach your procedure.

That preparation is exactly why I’m appointment-only. Your time in my studio is reserved for your service — not figuring everything out from scratch when you walk through the door.

Intentional. Customized. Technically informed.
That’s the experience I want every client to have.

LIP BLUSH | Your Lip Routine, Tattooed.

Wake up with naturally enhanced lips—no lipstick, no liner, and no constant touch-ups.

Lip Blush is a cosmetic tattoo that restores color, enhances definition, improves symmetry, and creates a customized, natural-looking result designed specifically for you.

*Suitability will be discussed during your consultation.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

WHAT IF I HAVE DARKER LIPS?

If your lips have naturally cool, purple, blue, gray, or brown undertones, you may be a candidate for Lip Neutralization.

Neutralization uses custom pigments to balance cool undertones before your final Lip Blush color, creating more even, natural healed results. Depending on your natural pigmentation and desired outcome, multiple sessions may be recommended.

Luxury isn’t about wearing more makeup. It’s about waking up needing less.

//How much are you actually spending on your makeup?//

Most people don’t know because they never add it up.

• Brow pencil: $20–40
• Brow gel: $15–30
• Brow pomade or powder: $20–40
• Lip liner: $10–30
• Lipstick or gloss: $15–40

If you’re replacing those products throughout the year, that’s easily hundreds of dollars annually. Over just four years, many people spend $1,000+ on brow and lip products alone—not including the time spent applying them every day.

One of the biggest misconceptions about permanent makeup is that it has to heal dark or look unnatural.

It doesn’t.

Immediately after your appointment, the pigment will appear darker because it’s sitting in the upper layers of the skin. As your skin heals, it’s normal for the color to soften by 30–50%. The healed result is what your appointment is planned around—not how it looks on day one.

Every client is different.

Your facial features are mapped before the procedure to create a shape that’s balanced specifically for your face—not a stencil that’s used on everyone.

Pigments are also selected based on your skin tone, undertones, and how your skin is expected to heal. Color matching is just as important as the procedure itself.
