I’ve been blessed to have spent my last month being Miss Rodeo Cherokee, surrounded by people who have supported me since 2023 when I was the Dayton Rodeo Jr. Queen.

This past weekend, I had the privilege of rodeoing with Iowa Rodeo Roughstock for the last time as a rodeo queen. I also had the opportunity to judge their wonderful 2026 Miss IRR Queen Pageant. While all of this brought happy and sad moments, I am glad that I can look back on all of the wonderful memories and moments that have brought me to be the person and queen I am today.

A few weekends ago, I also found myself in Dayton rodeoing with the Dayton Wranglers Saddle Club for the Match Of The Broncs rodeo. I had the opportunity to spend time in the arena with some of my favorite queens for the last time, as well as welcome the new Dayton Rodeo Queens as they were crowned.

I’m filled with gratitude as I go into my last few days of being your 2025 Miss Rodeo Cherokee. I cannot wait for pageant weekend and spending time with all of the wonderful personnel and contestants.

Gratefully,
Your 2025 Miss Rodeo Cherokee

A few weekends ago, I had the privilege of joining Rogue Rodeo at the Iowa Horse Fair for the Friday night performance.

As always, Rogue put on a spectacular show. Stephanie and Jerry were as usual, so welcoming to me.

I had the opportunity to carry the American flag to start the rodeo off, as well as help push out cattle during the slack.

I cannot thank Rogue Rodeo enough for the support they have always shown me.

As I come to my final weeks of being Miss Rodeo Cherokee, I am reminded of how grateful I am of all of the friendships and relationships I have made throughout my year!

Gratefully,
Your 2025 Miss Rodeo Cherokee

Last weekend, I had the privilege of spending my time with Iowa Rodeo Roughstock.

I was honored to carry our Country’s beautiful colors for both Saturday and Sunday’s performances. I also helped push calves and switch goats for the goat tying.

I have been blessed to be able to work with such amazing people!

✨Sponsor Spotlight✨

I had the opportunity to stop by The Saddle Store in Hampton, Iowa a few weeks ago. I enjoyed chatting with the owner, Gary, and some of his awesome employees.

If you are in the Hampton area, I highly recommend you stop in and check out all of the products that Gary has in store!

Fun fact: Gary told us that he has over 900 saddles on the property… that is a horse girl heaven if you ask me!

Today, I want to give a huge thank you to Mary Schulenberg with New Reflections Salon! Mary donated such a fun basket of goodies for our 2025 pageant.

I had a wonderful night last weekend in Cherokee at the Leaders In Ag Scholarship Fundraiser Dinner!

Returning to Cherokee was such a blessing, even if only for a short Saturday night visit. It was wonderful catching up with our committee members, seeing old friends, and chatting with the guests at the dinner. I also loved hearing from Megan, our Miss Rodeo Cherokee Queen Coordinator, about her exciting plans for this year’s pageant!

I had a great time selling 50/50 tickets throughout the evening and assisting with the raffle drawings. And of course, the dinner and the dessert were absolutely delicious!

A sincere thank you to Paige Stewart with Front Paige Photography, one of our Miss Rodeo Cherokee sponsors, for capturing such beautiful photos of the night. I know we will all cherish these memories as we look back on the event.

Gratefully,
Miss Rodeo Cherokee 2025
