I’ve always believed that when you can make your own tools, you should. Years ago, when I needed a broom and all I could find were mass‑produced imports, I went searching for someone who could teach me the old ways. Today, I’m the Head Broom Witch of the Broom Witch Academy, a virtual learning community dedicated to teaching the art, craft, and magick of broom making. From my workshop in Rhode Isl

You may know by now that I have a very specific priority list when I launch anything:

BWA Members first
then Facebook Subscribers
then Email Subscribers
then The Broom Closet
before it ever reaches the general public.

And after the July Broom Camp, I got an idea…
During the August Camp, I tested it to see if I was completely off my rocker.
Verdict: Yes! but it was a Crazy Good Idea.

So now it’s official.

My next event will be an Autumn Broom Makers Virtual Gathering, a cozy, seasonal morning with breakout rooms and broom‑making community.
