St. William Sunday Concert Series

St. William Sunday Concert Series Local community based concert series in Northeast Philadelphia, located at 6200 Rising Sun Avenue. Our goal is to bring the musical arts here. William Parish.

A community based concert series, bringing the arts to Northeast Philadelphia - an area that while close, is far from the Center City Arts Scene in terms of physical and financial ability for many. After several successful seasons prior to covid, we are happy to, once again, be able to bring the performing arts through music to the community. We are very grateful to all the performing groups for t

heir willingness to participate in our concert series, which is done at no cost to our host site: St. At our concerts, we do ask for a free will donation if you are able. There is no admission price. Everyone is welcome! Concerts are scheduled, generally, for the 3rd Sunday of each month, October through May, though occasionally that schedule may differ - please follow our page for the most up-to-date information on our up-coming concerts. The very first concert was in October of 2016, featuring Vox Dominici a chamber choir from the Northeast and was very well received. Since then, dozens of groups have performed for our happy audiences! If your group is interested in performing, please email; [email protected]

All performances are respectful of the sacred space we are using. We kindly ask you to do the same while attending a concert. Food and Drink are not permitted in the sanctuary. The majority of our concerts are held in the "Lower Church" which IS handicap accessible (street level entrance on Rising Sun Avenue, no stairs, plenty of room for wheel chairs). The success of this series is entirely dependent on you! Tell your friends and family, share our page and most importantly - attend our concerts! We look forward to seeing you :)
