A letter from Ms Katie…

As I sit here trying to process this weekend, the overwhelming feeling is gratitude.

Our recital theme this year was Anything Is Possible, and after watching these dancers take the stage, I can honestly say that we didn’t just talk about that idea—we lived it.

To every dancer who stepped on stage with courage, confidence, and heart, thank you. Watching your growth this season has been one of the greatest joys of my life. You reminded all of us that amazing things happen when we are willing to work hard, keep trying, and believe in ourselves.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your children. Thank you for the rides, the costumes, the rehearsals, the late nights, the encouragement, and for sharing your incredible kids with us. Your support means more than you know.

To my teachers and every person who poured time, energy, creativity, and love into these dancers this season—thank you. The impact you have on these children reaches far beyond dance steps and choreography. You help build confidence, resilience, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.

To our backstage crew, thank you for keeping the chaos organized and the magic moving. Recital doesn’t happen without the people behind the curtain making sure every dancer gets where they need to be.

And to Heather… there truly aren’t enough words. Thank you for making sure every “t” is crossed, every “i” is dotted, and every detail is handled before I even know it needs attention. You are the steady hand behind so much of what happens at That’s the Pointe, and I am endlessly grateful for you.

This weekend was beautiful, emotional, exhausting, joyful, and everything a recital should be.

As a final thought about this season, this recital wasn’t really about proving that anything is possible.

It was about showing what became possible.

And what became possible this year was pretty extraordinary.
