One gallery. Many artists. Countless ways of seeing.

The Jackson Art Association Members Showcase brings together artists working across a variety of mediums, styles and subjects, each offering a different perspective.

Together, the works remind us that art has both surface and substance. What catches your eye may only be the beginning.

On view at Gallery 100 through October 29.

Gallery Hours:
Monday-Friday: 10am – 5pm
Saturday-Sunday: 10am – 3pm

Two people can stand in front of the same artwork and see something completely different. That's the beauty of art.

Color, shadow, texture and subject may draw us in, but our own memories and experiences influence what we find beneath the surface.

What makes you stop and look twice at a work of art?

A work of art begins with an artist, but its journey doesn’t necessarily end in the studio.

During Members Showcase, artwork by Jackson Art Association members is finding a temporary home on the walls of Gallery 100 and perhaps a permanent home with someone who connects with it.

Every piece in the exhibition is available for purchase, and 100% of every sale goes directly to the artist. Gallery 100 takes no commission. Supporting an artist can become part of the artwork’s story and yours.

Some creative roots grow deeper with every generation.

Founded in 1947, the Jackson Art Association has spent nearly 80 years bringing artists together to learn, create, exhibit, and share their work.

Today, that journey continues at Gallery 100 with Members Showcase, bringing a wide range of artistic voices from the Jackson area to Chelsea. Come discover where these artists have been and where their creativity is taking them next.

Where we come from shapes where we’re going.

This month, Gallery 100 is exploring Roots & Routes: the places, people, traditions, and journeys that influence the stories we tell and the art we create.

Art can connect us to home, preserve a memory, reflect a changing landscape, or take us somewhere entirely new. Throughout the month, we’ll celebrate the many paths that lead to creative expression.

Art has a way of traveling.

This fall, the work of Jackson Art Association members has made its way from Jackson and surrounding communities to Chelsea for Members Showcase at Gallery 100.

Each artist arrives with a different story, perspective, and creative path. Together, their work reminds us that art can connect communities, introduce us to new voices, and give us a reason to see familiar places in a new way.
