We have another wonderful cultural table in our HeritageBurg, which you can visit at the 2026 Buffalo German Fest - 42nd Anniversary Celebration! Steven Teeft, from the Echoes Through Time Learning Center and Civil War Museum, will be answering questions and talking to attendees about the role of Germans in the Civil War. He will have handouts and information on Wiedner's Battery and Christian Ulrich. There is also a genealogy reference handout on searching for German Americans in the Civil War. Steven will be selling his books, including a new one on the Freemasons of which there's currently a German Freemason group in Buffalo! Rick Falkowski will also be at the Echoes Through Time table and is a great local historian. He too has several books he plans to have available for signing & sale at the Buffalo German Fest.
