UPDATE! We are still looking for a venue. The Choo Choo isn't out of the question, but recent changes and a couple of issues from from last year have prompted us to look elsewhere. Renovations at the Read House will make it almost impossible to schedule within 2017. So, we are still on the hunt. There's always the convention center, but the atmosphere is a little stark to say the least.

Bare with us as we figure out a spot - we will continue to update with new info when we have it.

Greetings everyone! We are discussing dates for the 2017 Convention. As it is with many things, it takes some effort to find the sweet spot. August faired better than April but too close to DC. If anyone would like to chime in, please do. On another note, if you get the opportunity to visit Orlando, a must-stop is the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium at Universal City Walk. One of the best things about running the Literary Track at the Steampunk Expo & Gothic Con in Chattanooga, was that I got to have two of my favorite authors ( David B. Coe -aka D.B. Jackson and Alex Bledsoe Bledsoe) on one of my favorite Book review podcasts (The Library Police).

As proponents of the bling that makes a costume sing, Naomi Grunwald-Eberhart and I will present "EMBELLISHMENTS for COSTUMING" 2:00 PM on Saturday in the Centennial Theatre at Steampunk Expo!
