Ever since my boyfriend passed last year it's been hard to focus on anything besides getting through the day. Admittedly I've considered quiting conventions, and letting go of/closing Ponderplace. I've been mainly just focusing on my jobs and my chickens.
I do enjoy doing this, and I have shows lined up for this year. I've decided that instead of walking away, I'm going to do a slight rebrand. We'll get through this year and see if I still feel the same. I love making art, and I love meeting new people. Ponderplace means a lot to me and I've been selling art under that name for almost a decade now.
My first show of the year is LCTC. I'm both excited and nervous. It will be a solo show for me, and was the last show I was able to work with my bf before he passed. He helped me pick my booth placement for this show. I expect it to be a lot for me emotionally, but I'm hoping for a good show
