It has been a fun run. We have hosted several amazing artists from around the world and locally. We have created opportunities for artists, poets, and musicians to create. We are so thankful for the support our community gave us to get us as far as we did. We had become a free "business" in January and made each exhibition free to the public. We cared more about hosting awesome art shows and opportunities than making money or a successful business. It would last as long as we could afford it.

But Alas, we have decided to close LIT. We feel like we need the time to focus on our lives and our own work. A year ago we created this space, Leah Dalton and Adam Kirby. Now we are engaged, and plan to be married next year! LIT will always be in our hearts, and we may even bring it back to life. But for now we are moving in a different direction.

As for Chattanooga. It will always flourish as a city for the arts.

We are starting back creative nights, a chance for artists to get together and draw,paint, sculpt or other from a live n**e model...This will be FREE, hosted at the gallery...Any models interested PM me or request to join our private model group. Pays $50 per evening. We currently have models booked. But have an opening for a private event July 14th (requesting a male model for this particular evening) again PM us if you are interested in modeling.

OPEN CALL: LOCAL & NATIONAL ARTISTS
Exhibition dates July 20th-August 10th 2018
This Exhibition is exploring the limitless nature of creative minds. We are looking for the distorted, illusionistic, morphed, and unusual, accepting all forms of medium and art practices.
Inspired by the works of Sean Madden, Johnson Tsang, and others that have used utopian, surreal and often times bizarre imagery, although their work has been informed by the human body we open up this theme to all depictions and inspiration.

Deadline for submission is Midnight July 12th.
Open to Sculpture and all other Mediums.
Open to Local Artists & National Artists.
Open Exhibition Night July 20th 7pm-11pm
This is a group Exhibition, we will select between 3-6 artists total. One artist will be awarded a future dated solo exhibition, winner announced opening night.

We are launching our creative nights for the end of this month through to Sept!! Check it out!

And yes we will have n**e models for creative instruction or to just brush up on your skills. We offer a wide variety of models age/gender/race no bias all are welcomed!!
