Nightfall is a 14 week FREE summer concert series, held on Friday night – rain or shine - in Miller Plaza & Park, downtown Chattanooga.

Opener starting at 7pm & Headliner begins at 8pm. Every Friday from May 1 to July 31 from 6:00pm - 9:30pm. The Nightfall Concert Series is held each Friday night – rain or shine - in Miller Plaza, downtown Chattanooga. Headlining acts begin at 8pm with local opening acts starting at 7pm. reat live music, food, moonshine and an ice cold beer at the corner of Market Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard starting at 5pm and going on until 10pm. There’s motorcycle parking on the closed portion of Market Street alongside the plaza and plenty of parking close by for everyone.

🎸 CALLING CHATTANOOGA’S NEXT WAVE OF BANDS! 🎸

Got a band that’s been making some noise in the garage, playing high school or college shows, building a following around town, or just waiting for the right chance to get on a bigger stage?

**THIS ONE’S FOR YOU. 👀**

We’re looking for 5 up-and-coming bands from the Greater Chattanooga area to take the stage at The Friday Mix at First Horizon Pavilion on Friday, September 18!

Think fresh sound. Big energy. The bands your friends keep telling everyone they have to come see. Whether you’re a newer high school band, college band, garage band, or an emerging local group starting to make a name for yourselves, we want to hear what you’ve got.
**APPLICATION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 3**

🔥 5 bands selected
💵 $250 for each band chosen to compete
🏆$650 TOTAL to the crowd-favorite winner
🎤 20-minute live sets
🗳️ NO JUDGES — the crowd picks the winner so bring your peeps!

And because The Friday Mix is throwing it back to Y2K, every selected band will need to work at least ONE song from the Y2K era into their set. Have fun with it. Make it yours. We want to see what you do with it. 📀✨

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bands based in the Greater Chattanooga area
• No solo acts for this competition
• At least one original song in your 20-minute set
• At least one Y2K-era song in your set
• A sample of your music with your application — send us your EPK if you have one!
• Bands that can bring the energy and bring their people — because the public decides who wins!

🥁 We’ll provide a drum kit, bass amp, guitar amps, full sound system and audio engineers. The application will ask about your equipment needs, so tell us what you need and we’ll see what we can accommodate.

**APPLICATION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 3**

We’ll notify the five selected bands by **September 7**, so yeah… the turnaround is FAST. Don’t sit on this one.

Thank you for choosing to spend your summer evenings with us celebrating FREE, original live music and the amazing talent our community has to offer. This year's Road to Nightfall runner-up brings their female-fronted rock sound, powerful vocals, and high-energy performance to kick off the night.

⭐ 8:00 PM – Robert Lee & The Union
After beating out more than 20 local bands to win this year's Road to Nightfall competition, Robert Lee & The Union take the stage as tonight's headliner with their unforgettable blend of Americana, Southern soul, gospel, and country.
