Thanks to everyone who joined us last night for club! We had a great time discussing anime, hearing about all the DragonCon festivities from those who attended, and, of course, celebrating the works of Shinichiro Watanabe! A big thanks to our secretary Zippy for presenting that panel!

Next week, Zippy will be back with another panel, this time on "Supaidaman", aka Japan’s take on the classic Marvel character! We’ll be looking at the character's appearances across two different mediums and exploring this unique take on the character.

We hope you can join us September 23 from 6–8 PM for another fun night of anime and discussion!

Just a reminder our friends at the Chattanooga Anime Club are coordinating a group visit to see Whisper of the Heart tonight at the Tennessee Aquarium IMAX 3D Theater! Everyone's welcome to join, so if you've never seen this under-appreciated Ghibli there's no better way to see it than on the biggest screen in town!
