Donna Daisy Phillips Pratt: SCRIPTS, STORIES & RIPPLE THEATER
Forever thankful Dear Friend JUDY MARLER you Published my First Fairy Tale, THE BEE AND THE BEAR when I first returned to East Tennessee and you Mike Serna were my Advisors for the City of Chattanooga EAC Production of BLACK ELK SPEAKS in 2009! And yes, I do have Four Tales more ready for print and production; He-Who-Would-Not-Be-Cruel, The Little Seed, How The Earth Became A Circle , The Boy And His Shadow, Two Lyric Poems "Beyond The Withered Lotus" & "The Secret Success of Scheherazade" and of course, my Lifework Novel CARELLA, Of the Elven Kingdom of Northern Haarmaatiiaa, although the current World sometimes seems to have little taste for "History as it was", Judy you had "ears to hear" PLUS the will and skill to "midwife" my Fairy Tale! And also so very thankful to Dr. Brian & Erika Johnson together with The RIPPLE THEATER that has fostered my Art again by inspiring me back into writing, scripting and theater production, especially with the years of research and development on our House Historical Drama, The Brainerd Mission Story, "The Trail Was A Circle." As I have written these New additional Stories, I have written them specifically in a way so they could be Scripted for the Ripple Theater Stage. Our wonderful History of working with the Native American Story were the direct inspiration for "The Little Seed", "The Boy And His Shadow", and "How The Earth Became A Circle". Through the years many of our original Native Americans Performers have moved away or become involved in other commitments. Blessedly three of BMP Veterans, Victor Adam Gray, Tammera Hicks and Aaron Nichols are still with us and we are thankful for their years of Dedicated Service in keeping the Native American Story alive in East Tennessee! We are presently recruiting New Members for our Native American productions, especially through the Campuses of Southern & Lee Universities. If you are an interested Native American Performer in the East Tennessee Area please contact/pm our page RIPPLE PRODUCTIONS & DIVERSIFIED ARTS. We will be excited to set up a time to meet you! Our Programming Coordinator Jesse Rademacher is currently developing our 2026 Season and it promises to be spectacular!
Meanwhile as Artistic Director and Artist, it is my task and honor to pursue the course laid before me, "Seine Welt Zeige Der Kunstler-Die Niemals War Noch Jemals Sein Wird."
