Within the engineering world a dynamo is a mechanical device used to generate electricity. Rather than generating electricty, Dynamo Studios act as a resource for musicians to generate success in the music world. Week 1 in the books!!

Our media students wanted to create some content with a song that one of our 7th graders made before camp! They filmed this entire video and our instructors gave them an editing tutorial using the footage!

The arts have shaped our city in countless ways. They create opportunities for young people, provide careers for creatives, strengthen local businesses, tell our stories, and bring people together across every background and generation.

The future of the arts in Chattanooga is being shaped right now, and one of the most important things we can do is share our experiences. Whether you’re an artist, musician, songwriter, producer, photographer, designer, freelancer, or educator, your perspective is valuable.

ArtsBuild is gathering feedback to better understand both the impact of the arts and the needs that still exist within our creative community. The information collected will help inform conversations, identify gaps in resources, and advocate for a stronger creative future for our city.

🤘🏽Let’s Rock! 🎸
For 5 weeks this past semester, we had the privilege of working with 4th & 5th grade students at 3️⃣ local elementary schools through our WRITE TO ROCK afterschool program. Shout out to Dupont, Clifton Hills, and East Side!

These students explored songwriting, collaboration, rhythm, editing, communication, and confidence — then took the stage to introduce the original songs they wrote themselves. And they absolutely crushed it. 🔥

Huge thank you to the teachers and staff who trust us with their students and make space for creativity in their schools. ❤️ We’ll let you know when these songs hit streaming platforms 👀🎧 and yes… Fall 2026 is already in the works.
