THE LOCKWOOD FILES: CHAPTER 3

Before Booker Smith. Before the disturbed grave. Before anyone had heard the name Maldrake...

Something was already moving through the woods.

In 1869, farmers near Lake Winnie began finding livestock killed under strange circumstances. Hunters reported footprints that looked almost human.

Others heard heavy footsteps after dark.
And then came the stories of two glowing green eyes watching from the trees.

Was it simply the legend of Old Green Eyes?

Or was it the first sign that something much darker had awakened near the Lockwood estate?

The story continues.

THE LOCKWOOD FILES: CHAPTER 2

In 1871, 11-year-old Booker Smith fell to his death near the Lockwood estate.

The only known witness was Sarah-Jane Lockwood.

She said Booker slipped.

Others were not so sure.

Classmates claimed Booker was afraid of Sarah-Jane, and rumors around the Lockwood family were already beginning to grow.

Then, only days after Booker was buried, his grave was found disturbed.

Carved into the stone were two words:

SERVIRE MALDRAKE

Who - or what - is Maldrake?

The Lockwood Files are only beginning.

THE LOCKWOOD FILES HAVE BEEN FOUND.

For more than a century, stories have followed the Lockwood family, their funeral home near Lake Winnie and the strange events tied to their name.

In 1866, the Lockwood Funeral Home opened near the lake. Years later came reports of unexplained deaths, disturbed graves and something watching from the woods.

Then one inscription appeared:

SERVIRE MALDRAKE

Who - or what - is Maldrake?

The story begins now.
