Our club was honored for outstanding support of the Alzheimer's Association and its work to end the Alzheimer's disease.

We raised #22,412 dollars during our Longest Day week in June. President Richard received the plaque at our Wednesday game. Thanks to all our members for their generous support. We are one of the top fundraising bridge clubs in the country!!

Shayna was honored at the Nooga East game last Monday.
Like the cake says -- we will miss her a lot. She did so much for Chattanooga bridge at all three clubs -- the Bridge Center, Nooga East, and Fairyland. She was the long time buyer of all the snacks we ate at the Bridge Center. And twice recently she was the Food Coordinator for the Chattanooga Sectional tournament.
Our loss is Knoxville's gain where she is moving to be closer to her family. But no worries. Come see her at the upcoming Knoxville Sectional Nov 4 to 6.

'Learn Bridge In a Day' coming September 12, Saturday.

The Chattanooga Bridge Center is hosting this one day class with continuing lessons and games for you.
If you are a former student, please feel free to attend at no cost. If you know of someone with an interest in learning this fascinating card game, please let them know about this opportunity to delve into duplicate bridge. Watch this spot for more details about the class.

Fairyland Bridge Club celebrated America's 250th with a red, white, and blue game Thursday. Big turnout and lots of patriotic clothes.
It was a free game in honor of the 4th of July. We had grilled hamburgers with all the trimmings.

Your bridge club raised almost $20 thousand dollars to support conquering the Alzheimer's Disease.
Thank you Susan, Mary and Margie for leading us to a new high donation mountaintop.
And thank all you club members for caring so much.

The Longest Day game on Wednesday. We are almost to 80% of our goal to donate $14,000 dollars to Alzheimer's. Way to go club! You members rock!
We were visited by Abby and Carol from the local Alzheimer;s Association. They thanked us for our tremendous support. Among bridge clubs we are the top supporter in Tennessee and in the top ten in all Ameria. Wow.

The Longest Day week, game 2 at the Bridge Center. Mary announced we are to 70% of our goal.
Come play Wednesday and Friday to bid on art and other cool stuff. These pictures show most of the bidding items.
Plus you can see we have lots of donated items that you can make an offer on. Or as Susan says, offer just like at a garage or estate sale. All proceeds go to getting to our goal of $14,000 dollars to support research on the Alzheimer's Disease and support for its victims.
