NASHVILLE, WE ARE COMING!
-NATIONAL BLACK POETRY DAY CELEBRATION-
Making the world a better place is apart of our overall purpose. Sunday October 17, 2021 is a date to mark on your calendar. It's going down in Nashville! Poet, griot, freestyle vocalist and orator Jody Harris will be one of the featured performers as apart of this GREAT event. There are amazing featured poets on the line up from award winning writers to slam champions. Join us for an all star day of being black, poetry, spoken word, art, food, fellowship, vendors, celebration and good vibes.
This gathering will feature an array of poets and spoken word artists. There will also be an open mic. The Nashville poetry library is organizing this unique occasion to further the arts in all forms. This is the 2nd annual edition of the celebration and you are invited to come witness history!
Shout out to and the wonderful sponsors of this event. Shout out to all the featured poets scheduled to perform. It is a much needed platform for black poets to share their gifts while expanding the craft. Please support the arts and not hate! That's what cool people do! Sincere thanks to the REAL people who have supported us from day one! Please follow while spreading Keeody love!
The Keeody Gallery is more than just a gallery. We are a movement!
