Fellow artists -

Can someone explain to me why I struggle drawing a human face on paper, but I can sketch one out in clay in under 45 minutes? (Only half finished but whatever it’s a “sketch”)

Like, how is it easier for me wrap my head around facial structure when I sculpt with clay than with pen/paper? Are some artists destined to be crappy at drawing as opposed to working in 3 dimensions?

Is there some neuroscience behind it?

A little guy from Hollow Knight for a very dear friend! He’s a pen/pencil/etc holder since the main character normally holds a sword. Such a fun project, can’t wait for glaze!

Working on disabiliTEA mugs; designed with two handles so folks who have tremors can have more stability with a second handle and still use a real ceramic mug. Different size handles depending on how they prefer to place their hands. ❤️

Very pleased with how my underglaze tie-dye pattern turned out on two of these little snack trays! I sense more tie dye patterns in the future. What colors would y’all like to see besides the typical rainbow palette?
