The official weigh-in and judging will take place Saturday afternoon near the close of the festival day. The champion will then be recognized throughout Sunday’s festivities.

Whether you’re a seasoned grower or simply have a watermelon that surprised everyone this year, we encourage you to enter and be part of what we hope becomes a long-standing festival tradition.

The Sale Creek Giant Watermelon Championship is just one of many exciting attractions taking place during the Watermelon Festival, including live music, food trucks, farm animals, contests, vendors, family activities, and plenty of watermelon fun.
