Last night North Murray Softball team dedicated their game in honor of my baby girl Skylar Grace Headrick.

I got to throw the first pitch to Kaitlyn Malone one of Skylar’s best friends. It was so special. Kaitlyn handed me a bouquet of flowers with sunflowers which represented Skylar. Kaitlyn said she made herself.

Each player as they were called to the field also handed me sunflowers , Kirsten and Stormi were standing with me.

And each player wore a Sunflower in their ponytail.

Josh Malone was the announcer and did a very special announcement.

I will post more pictures of the events that happened. I wasn’t able to get pictures or video. I’m hoping that some of the parents did and I was told that Chatsworth times was taking pictures. I have contacted them and waiting on a reply.

Thank you God for a loving community who continues to show their love for Skylar.

Just a friendly reminder:

This is the last year that I can collect donations of any amount for Skylar’s memorial scholarship. It will go to one of her classmates for graduation 2026/2027.
It will go to the student going to college, but has grade averages of B’s and C’s. The student that gives 100% but just can’t get that A.

We want a student that would not get a scholarship from anything and they need to go to college to further their future.

My baby didn’t get to have a future, but Her memory sure can send another on their future.

I teamed up with North West Community Foundation not long after Skylar passed. They handle all the money and will send you a receipt for tax write off.

This is the last school year for me to collect as much money as possible for the scholarship.

Please help me remember Skylar in a way for her to give back.

It will be given to one of her classmates and student that is graduating at North Murray High School.
This student has to be enrolled into college and Carrie’s a “B” and/or “C” average. Had to show that they put in 100% to keep those grades. We want that child to be recognized for all the hard work they put into keeps those grades.

So if you can, we would very much appreciate any donations amount. It all adds up.

My baby girl got her senior parking spot today. Now to get everyone together and get it painted for her.

My friend Ashley Bearden has been God sent to me. She has helped me so much with getting Skylar’s senior year together. She has cried tears with me. Being a very busy mom of some adorable baby boys, going to school and just life. She has taken the time to personally help me. Thank you , I love you girl.

Thank you North Murray for going beyond anything I could imagine to remember and knowledge my baby girl Skylar Grace Headrick.

She may not be here on earth, but she sure is in a lot of people’s hearts!

This is the last school year to raise money for Skylar’s Memorial Scholarship. It will go to one of her classmates that graduate this school year.

September is Skylar’s Birthday month. Her birthday is the 22nd. She would be turning 18 yrs old. This would be her senior year in High School too.

This is the last year to raise money for her Memorial Scholarship for one of her classmates graduating 2026/2027 school year.
