What a beautiful way to begin Year 9 at the Wilcox Gallery Music Studio!

This week, we welcomed more than 100 piano and violin students through our doors for the start of a new year of music!

What a joy it is to share the gift of music with so many children and adults in our community. From our youngest beginners to our adult students, we’re looking forward to watching each of them learn, grow, gain confidence, and become musicians. ❤️

Our partnership with Dr. Kadisha Onalbayeva at the University of Mobile has given us such talented instructors to guide our students over these past 9 years.

This year, we’re excited to welcome back our wonderful teachers Marc, Zarina, Zhanel, and Rebecca, and to introduce our newest teachers, Aziza and Nina! We are so grateful for each of you and the gift you share with our students.

And a special thank you to Sue Sue’s Cakes / Owner: Suzanne Carpenter and The Confetti Porch for helping make our first day a little sweeter and extra festive! 🎂🎈

Here’s to a wonderful 9th year of music, growth, friendships, and making beautiful memories together! 🎶

We’re excited to welcome more than 100 students to the Wilcox Gallery Music Studio over the next two days as we kick off our 9th season!

What a joy it is to see our studio grow and to begin another year filled with music, learning, friendships, and opportunities for our students to grow.

We’re especially thankful for our wonderful partnership with Dr. Kadisha Onalbayeva and her students at the University of Mobile. Their talent, encouragement, and collaboration continue to be such a meaningful part of what we’re building at the Wilcox Gallery Music Studio.

Here’s to Season 9—and to all the beautiful music still to come!

🎶 We’re so excited to begin our 9th year at the Wilcox Gallery Music Studio! 🎶

This year, we received our largest number of applicants ever and will welcome our largest group of students in Music Studio history! We are incredibly excited—but also saddened that so many wonderful students will be placed on our wait list.

Because of the overwhelming response, we used a random drawing to select students for this year’s available spots.

All applicants will receive an email this week letting them know if they received a coveted spot or have been placed on the wait list.

Students offered a spot will have until Friday to confirm their placement. Any unclaimed spots will then be offered to students on the wait list.

Thank you so much for your incredible interest and support! We wish we could welcome everyone. We look forward to making beautiful music together in our 9th year! 🎹🎻❤️

What a remarkable day! More than 70 student musicians, ages 8 to 80, took the stage for our Spring Recital, celebrating the close of our 8th season at Wilcox Gallery Music Studio. Each year, we are inspired all over again by the growth of both our new and returning students.

Congratulations to every performer—you made the day truly unforgettable with your beautiful music!

Thank you to Dr. Kadisha Onalbayeva and her talented graduate students from the University of Mobile’s Alabama School of the Arts. Your partnership with us is making a lasting impact on our students and our community.

A heartfelt thank you as well to the congregation of New Life Fellowship Church for graciously hosting us again this year. Your continued support means so much to us.

We’re already excited for what’s ahead as we prepare for our 9th season this fall at Wilcox Gallery Music Studio. Be on the lookout for class details and application information coming this summer!
