On September 10th, the Charlottesville Symphony will host The Firebird Gala to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Music Director, Benjamin Rous.

The evening comes with a wonderful full-circle story. A decade ago, Ben auditioned for his symphony position by conducting Igor Stravinsky’s masterful The Firebird. To honor his ten-year anniversary, we’ve collaborated with The Charlottesville Ballet, who will perform a segment from The Firebird, accompanied by live music.
