Rick Harden Works

Rick Harden Works An artist and tinkerer for all of my life, my descent into reclaimed materials began in 1996 in Tucson, Arizona.

Rick Harden is a Charlottesville craftsmen and artist who finds inspiration in nature and uses reclaimed materials to create rustic pieces in a variety of forms. Over the past 20 plus years I have continued to make pieces (art and otherwise) from materials salvaged, found, and gifted, from old and abandoned houses, junk yards, neighbors garages, as well as forests and deserts. Every so often, the

focus of my work has changed in dramatic and sometimes unexpected ways. Prior to 2015, much of my work revolved around using reclaimed materials to produce frames and bird houses. Over the last few years, I have found increasing inspiration in the natural world.
