Charlottesville is home to some incredible artists 🎨

At this year's Tom Tom Festival, McGuffey Art Center held CoCreate: Open Studios, bringing the public directly into the heart of the building. Over 20 working artists welcomed visitors not as observers but as collaborators, sharing their processes, their materials, and their time.

Visitors painted. They collaged. They asked questions, made things with their hands, and left having contributed to something real. No experience required. No distance between artist and audience. Just creativity in its truest form.

McGuffey has long been one of Charlottesville's most vital creative spaces. During Tom Tom, it became proof of what's possible when art belongs to everyone. 💛
