Venture Stage Company is excited to announce our online silent auction, primarily raising funds for our upcoming co-production of Frozen!

With an array of exciting items up for bid, from local business items to free lessons from incredible performers who you may recognize, and other Broadway memorabilia! All bidding starts at $10, with most items valued at $50 or more.

This auction will be open until the end of May, at which time we will announce our principal casting for our upcoming production! All the proceeds from your support directly funds the artists who bring these productions to life, including actors, musicians, technicians, and creative team members, while also allowing us to invest in the production elements that make the work truly memorable.
�Venture Stage Company is currently a division of DMR Adventures and is in the process of becoming an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing us to further invest in artists, grow our programming, and expand access to high-quality theatre in our community.

Tickets are on sale NOW for Venture Stage Company’s upcoming event Acting Up! Connecting Stories to Stage! This is a Theater for Young Audiences-focused fundraiser and community event. Join us for a night of singing, storytelling, a silent auction, an open forum, and so much more! Held at the Belmont Arts Collaborative on Sunday, April 19th (1:00 PM) and Monday, April 20th (6:30 PM), Acting Up! introduces or continues to acquaint the City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County to Theater for Young Audiences (TYA).

Our goal is to connect with students, families and educators in the area as local performers sing from shows known and not-so-known! Venture community members and collaborators will talk about some of our upcoming productions and potential, future productions! Whether you joined us for our inaugural, full-fledged production of Dogfight, or our community launches in the Fall, Acting Up! will serve to offer up a different view of what Venture can, and hopes to, achieve as we move forward! Whether that is producing shows, introducing theater to the children in our community, or merely connecting with educators in the area to further discuss Theater for Young Audiences, we look forward to connecting with you while we connect stories to stage.

Venture Stage Company and DMR Adventures are excited to announce their first co-production at the historic Paramount Theater: Disney’s Frozen the Musical. This exciting collaboration brings together two organizations committed to high-quality theatrical storytelling, and we look forward to presenting this beloved production to our community.

🎭 What to Prepare
�Please prepare a 16–32 bar cut of a song in the style of the show, an accompanist will be provided. Please prepare either: a monologue (approximately 1 minute in length), or one of the provided sides from the show.

If you cannot attend an in person audition, virtual submissions will be accepted until 10 PM on March 30th. Please send all virtual submissions to [email protected] and include in the subject line "Frozen 2026 Submission" as well as your headshot and resume.

Additional Information
* Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork.
* Bring clearly marked sheet music in the correct key (an accompanist will be provided).
* Be prepared to list any conflicts.
