🎉 5-Year Workiversary Spotlight: Cole Rakes 🎉

Five years ago, Cole joined Story House as a transaction coordinator for our buyer agents. It didn't take long for that role to grow — into vendor coordination, team finances, day-to-day operations, and yes, the occasional downed tree. Today he's our Director of Operations, and honestly, it's hard to imagine this team running without him.

What makes Cole special isn't just how much he handles — it's how he handles it. Steady, detail-oriented, endlessly problem-solving, and always looking out for clients and teammates alike. He's also just plain fun to be around — pulling double duty naming Charlottesville's Christmas tree (twice!), jamming on guitar or drums, and chasing down radio call-in contests like it's a competitive sport.
