Charlottesville Synth Syndicate is taking over The Looking Glass tonight! ⚡
First Friday, and Vol. 1: Hometown Heroes is all local.

Four synth acts, one DJ keeping the room moving between sets, and a whole lot of sound you can feel in your chest. 🎶 Wander through the space, catch some art and let the frequencies do the rest.

Some new pieces have landed inside The Looking Glass! 💖

Meet "Bubba" - a stunning creature head donated to the LG, born out of UVA's Art of the Moving Creature class this past spring.

Led by Melissa Goldman and Annie Temmink, students brought "Bubba" to life through hands-on creature design and puppetry craft.

Huge thanks to the student artists behind this piece: Isabel Hamilton, Becky Keteltas, Vera Lapidus, Lily MacKenzie, Rena Maier, Dasani Madipalli, Clara Schwaerzler, Avarice Stankiewicz, Jessica Wey, and Yaran Zheng.

The first Thursday of the month means one thing: it's Arts From Underground time. 💫

Tonight's the night to paint, sip, and let loose in the Rabbit Hole Art Lounge, then head over to the Flowstone Stage where karaoke takes over at 8pm.

No plans required, just show up ready to make something and maybe belt out a tune in front of strangers.
