We're pleased to announce 30 finalists for the 2026 ACLS Open Access Book Prizes and Arcadia Open Access Publishing Awards.

Five open access books in each category—anthropology, environmental humanities, history, literary/media studies, multimodal works, and political science—advance to the final round for six $50,000 prizes.

The students of MUSI 3374: Composing Mixtapes under the name “Second Hand Smoke” are proud to announce their mixtape “Present:Tense” with our release show May 5th 7-9pm at WTJU Studio!

A culmination of a semester-long musical expression, both focused on the individual and collective experiences of being a young adult. “Present:Tense” aims to capture the complexity of living in the modern age with an aptly diverse soundscape, serving as a time capsule for years to come.
