Prior to the pandemic, I was Senior Vice President of Events & Experiences at Odyssey Media, a global marketing firm. In that role, I was responsible for leading the program development, speaker management, pre-planning, and on-site ex*****on of world-class events & experiences focused on the professional development and retention of multicultural C-Suite female executives for Fortune 100 companies. Having done multi-day conferences for years for different groups (i.e., C-Suite Women, Pro-Athletes, Government Officials, etc.), a few years ago, while watching SUITs, I wondered how it would be to produce a conference for highly accomplished attorneys, you know the Harvey Specter types. Well, last year, God granted me the opportunity to produce three conferences for accomplished attorneys. All were successful, and our last one was a blast with almost 900 attorneys registered for the final conference, a record 58 sponsors, with both day & night programming; for 4 full days, we had to FOCUS. This conference was 9 months in the making while still serving other clients. Being blessed with highly skilled industry besties Jen-Hope Grabow Belis & Erica Lauren Ortiz, who required very little oversight, was phenomenal. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to attract & serve ideal clients and work with my DREAM Team again post-COVID. The client, sponsors, and attendees were pleased, and an expanded 2024 calendar is on the horizon.
