We have used this statement in relation to our company's since it was founded. Our company was created to change acceas points for theatre to create equity and inclusion in spaces we take up.

We have been in conversations privately and publicly in hopes that larger companies see this as a time to truly investigate their role in a system that does a poor job of amplifying Black voices. We recognize this is a marathon and will not be without issues, however as a company we vow to stay in the race.

13 weeks ago, we knew we needed to make a change to our summer programming. We didn't imagine how much so at the time. We made sure that March and April were filled with our Creative Play ro Go options.

Last month we adjusted our Hello, Drama! to a virtual format and got a chance to partner and share it with Girl Scouts from on Monday. We had a great turn out and are excited to keep this offering in our program options.

For Creatives everywhere, this is indeed a tough time. The Arts and Science Council has created some grants to assist local Creatives during this time. Apply now!

If you are in a situation that allows it, please support your local Creatives during this time. "The Earth without Art is just 'eh' "

COVID-19 has impacted local creatives as many of them rely on public performances and events as primary sources of income. Today, ASC launched the Mecklenburg Creatives Resiliency Fund to support local creatives with $500 grants to help during this challenging time.

Creative play has proven to enhance emotional awareness by allowing kids to both feel and release emotions. In an effort to offer some light in this stressful time, OCP will release videos of activities over the week you can play at home as a family.

5 years ago today, these 2 ladies jumped on board for our very 1st show. We are taking a new show back to the very 1st community partner in celebration of this journey with 3 of the 5 original actors. OCP is very appreciative of their commitment to our mission.
