Since 1997, Corda Entertainment has been specializing in performing fine classical music for weddings, receptions and special events throughout the Piedmont Triad and surrounding areas of North Carolina. Corda Entertainment and The Corda Quartet were founded by Alison Lawson with the vision of providing the most elegant entertainment the area has to offer. Corda, meaning "string" in Italian, emphasizes what we do best - string combinations of all kinds. Our full time musicians perform with The Greensboro Symphony as well as other area orchestras across the state. These musicians have advanced degrees on their instruments and have been performing with Corda Entertainment as formed groups for weddings and receptions for many years. ✨ Before it became one of the Triangle’s most distinctive wedding venues, The Parlour at Manns Chapel served the community as a Methodist church for nearly a century. Originally established in 1887, the chapel was carefully restored rather than replaced, preserving original pine floors, stained glass windows, and the historic Manns Chapel sign while introducing thoughtful details like Carrara marble floors, period-inspired chandeliers, and beautifully designed gardens. The result is a venue where every space feels connected to its history while offering a completely modern wedding experience.

Alicia and Norm’s wedding at The Terrace at Cedar Hill brought together beautiful Charlotte skyline views, live music, and the people who matter most.
