Accepting Charlotte Beach Attendant applications until May 8th. Beach opens Memorial Day weekend and closes Labor Day weekend. Attendants work 5 hour shifts and average 15-25 hours per week. Hello Charlotte Residents,

I am writing to apologize for the difficulty some of you are having purchasing a 2026 Charlotte Beach Pass online. In order to purchase the pass online you must have an active household account in the MyRec system. If you do not wish to set up a household in the system or are having difficulty doing so, please call Gary Rogers 802-989-2929 for assistance. You can also mail a check to:

Please note on your check that it is for a summer beach pass, and we will mail the sticker to your home.

Additionally, beach pass stickers are available for purchase, by check, at the Charlotte Town Hall from 9:00AM-4:00PM until May22nd, and then available for purchase at Charlotte Town Beach for the remainder of the summer.

It’s the end of the skating season. It’s been the best and longest that any of us can remember. We started skating December 28th and continued without a melt until March 6th.

Thank you to all the helpers that made it possible.

If you have a memory of a time you skated this winter perhaps you might share it here. My favorite was seeing the Moms and/or Dads playing hockey with their kids from toddler to teen. They shoot- they score!

If there are any ice physics professors out there, what are all the bumps? They are primarily on the north end which gets more sun, some sort of freeze/thaw event.
Looking at the forecast this could be our last flood for the season. Enjoy the ice while you can. Bumps and all!
