This stupa in particular was on the way from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche, somewhere around 12,500ft 🏔️

Hostile topography and fickle weather conditions make Nepal one of the most dangerous places to fly in the world.

While making the trek to Everest Base Camp, we saw countless helicopter taxis running up and down the mountains on a daily basis. These taxis brought the sick and wounded down to a lower altitude for treatment. They later transported a few of our own.

One of an estimated hundred thousand…in Kathmandu alone.

Nepali Hindus believe that by worshipping dogs they’ll be able to view death more positively. During Kukur Tihar, a festival celebrating man’s best friend, all dogs are worshipped including the strays.
